Transporting Moon (and earth! to a Show)
"Are You Here" is oil encaustic impasto on Plywood. It is large (4'x4') and heavy, wired and secured on back. It has a "live" encaustic edge.
This is an ensemble piece consisting of oil encaustic in wood cradle ("FM Kamma/Yellow Radio", 6"x6") leaning on an old toy piano (many keys make sounds) with encaustic-spattered clothes dryer lint balls, under glass.
